Terms & Conditions

The terms of using
PrimoCRM

These terms govern your purchase and use of the PrimoCRM plugin and our website. Please read them carefully.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and PrimoCRM, operated by PrimoCRM (“PrimoCRM”, “we”, “us”). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the PrimoCRM plugin, or by using our website at primocrm.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software or the website.

1 Who We Are

PrimoCRM is a self-hosted CRM and email-marketing plugin for WordPress. It is distributed in two parts: a free core plugin available on the WordPress.org plugin directory, and a paid Pro add-on that unlocks additional features. This website and the paid Pro add-on are operated by PrimoCRM, Dhaka, Mirpur 10, Bangladesh.

2 The Software

PrimoCRM’s program code is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) v2 or later, consistent with WordPress. This means you are free to use, modify, and adapt the code on your own sites.

The free core plugin is available at no cost. The Pro add-on is distributed to customers who purchase a plan. What you pay for is not a restriction on the GPL code itself, but a license key that entitles you to automatic updates, access to premium features, and customer support for the sites and duration covered by your plan.

The free plugin works fully on its own and does not require a purchase or an account.
3 Your License

When you buy a Pro plan, we issue you a license key. That key entitles you to:

  • 1
Activate the Pro add-on on up to the number of sites included in the plan you purchased (as shown at checkout).
  • 2
Receive automatic updates and access premium features for as long as your plan remains active.
  • 3
Contact support for help with installation, configuration, and issues.

To validate a license, the Pro add-on communicates with our licensing service at license.primocrm.com and transmits your site URL and license key. This is required to confirm that a key is valid and within its site limit. The free plugin does not connect to our servers.

You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute your license key, or share it to activate Pro on sites beyond your plan’s limit.

4 Payments & Billing

Purchases made through our website are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for those orders. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, and the collection and remittance of applicable sales tax and VAT.

Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms. The charge on your statement may appear as “Paddle” or “Paddle.net*PrimoCRM”.

Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency where available. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect purchases already completed.

Some plans are also sold as lifetime deals through AppSumo. Those purchases are governed by AppSumo’s own terms in addition to these Terms.

5 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on purchases made through our website. Full details, including how EU/UK consumer rights and AppSumo purchases are handled, are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6 Updates & Support

While your plan is active, you receive updates and support for the Pro add-on. “Lifetime” plans include updates and support for the operational lifetime of the product, not a guarantee of perpetual future development. We aim to keep PrimoCRM compatible with current, supported versions of WordPress and PHP.

Support is provided by email in English and covers the plugin’s own features. It does not include custom development, third-party plugin conflicts we cannot reproduce, or server administration on your hosting.

7 Acceptable Use

PrimoCRM includes email-sending features. You are solely responsible for the messages you send and the contacts you send them to. By using the software you agree that you will:

Only email people who have consented to hear from you, honor unsubscribe requests, and comply with all applicable laws, including the GDPR, the CAN-SPAM Act, and CASL. Do not use PrimoCRM to send spam, unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content.

We are not responsible for how you use the software, for the deliverability of your email, or for any consequences of your sending practices.

8 Your Data & Responsibilities

PrimoCRM is self-hosted. Your contacts, campaigns, and other CRM data are stored in your own WordPress database on your own hosting. We do not receive, store, or have access to that data. You are responsible for backups, security, and the lawful processing of the personal data you hold about your own contacts.

See our Privacy Policy for what limited information we do process (for example, when you buy a plan or activate a license).

9 Third-Party Services

PrimoCRM can integrate with third-party services you choose to connect, such as WooCommerce, transactional email providers (SMTP/ESP), and others. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for changes they make.

10 Warranty Disclaimer

The software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every plugin, theme, or hosting environment.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrimoCRM and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the software. Our total liability for any claim relating to the software or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

12 Termination

You may stop using PrimoCRM at any time by deactivating and deleting the plugin. We may suspend or terminate a license if you materially breach these Terms, for example by exceeding your site limit or using the software unlawfully. Because the code is GPL, terminating a license affects your access to updates, premium features, and support, not your possession of code already installed.

13 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Effective date” above. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the software or website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection law entitles you to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
