Cookie Policy

How we use
cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. This page explains what our website uses, why, and how you can control them, in line with EU/UK ePrivacy and GDPR rules.

This Cookie Policy explains how our website at primocrm.com, operated by PrimoCRM, uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. This policy applies to our marketing website only, not to the self-hosted PrimoCRM plugin running on your own site.

1 What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and to understand how a site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in comparable ways. In this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.

2 How We Use Cookies

We use cookies sparingly, in three broad categories:

  • 1
Strictly necessary cookies make the website and checkout work. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
  • 2
Functional cookies remember choices such as your cookie-consent preference.
  • 3
Analytics cookies, if enabled, help us understand aggregate, anonymized usage so we can improve the site. These are only set with your consent.
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or to sell your data. [Confirm your exact analytics tool below, or remove the analytics row if you use none.]
3 Cookies We Use

The specific cookies set on our website include:

  • A
Consent preference (functional) — remembers your cookie choices so we don’t ask on every visit. Set by us. Typically stored up to 12 months.
  • B
Checkout & fraud prevention (strictly necessary) — set by Paddle during the purchase process to run the checkout securely. See section 4.
  • C
Analytics (optional) — [name your analytics provider, e.g. a privacy-friendly analytics tool] set only if you accept analytics cookies. Remove this item if you do not use analytics.
4 Third-Party Cookies (Paddle)

When you make a purchase, our checkout is powered by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle may set its own cookies that are necessary to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by Paddle’s Privacy Policy.

5 Your Consent & Choices

Strictly necessary cookies are set because the site cannot function without them. For any non-essential cookies, such as analytics, we ask for your consent before setting them, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies that are strictly necessary.

6 Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting existing cookies and blocking new ones. Every major browser has instructions in its help pages. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as checkout, from working.

7 Do Not Track

Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” signals, our website does not currently respond to them. We instead rely on the consent choices described above.

8 Changes & Contact

We may update this Cookie Policy as our website changes; the “Effective date” above shows the current version. For questions, email privacy@primocrm.com.
